Davidson & Kitzmann, PLC is, first and foremost, an aggressive litigation firm. While we certainly advise our clients to accept good settlements, we love trying cases. Modern litigation has brought out a tendency by many to fear trying cases and instead to settle, as the trial date approaches, for whatever the other side offers. We feel otherwise. We find that an unreserved willingness to go to trial and a reputation for trial skill brings in better and more prompt settlement offers.

And, when settlement proves impossible, we enjoy going to trial and using our experience and training to put our clients in the best possible position to win.

Our firm has the capability and flexibility to litigate a wide range of interesting and challenging cases. We have litigated personal injury cases, family law cases, employment law cases, civil rights cases, construction cases, contract cases, commercial cases, and many other types of cases that are handled in the courtroom.

We also are proud of our appellate experience. Appellate advocacy depends heavily on excellent writing skills and legal analysis. Our attorneys have served as editors of premier legal journals, have authored scholarly pieces for law reviews, and have been retained by other lawyers specifically for the purpose of using our appellate experience to assist them. We use our appellate experience and skills both to protect clients we have represented at the trial level and also to help new clients who have had other lawyers represent them at the trial level.
