Kim M. Mattingly Ms. Mattingly joined Davidson & Kitzmann in
2007. Her practice includes divorce and family law, business,
appeals, and civil litigation.
Ms. Mattingly received both her J.D. and B.A. from the University of Virginia. Prior to attending law school, she earned a Ph.D. in philosophy from Georgetown University, where she was the recipient of a Newcombe Doctoral Fellowship. Following law school Ms. Mattingly completed a year-long clerkship with the Honorable Richard B. Potter in Manassas, Virginia. Ms. Mattingly is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Virginia and the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia. Ms. Mattingly is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the American Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Charlottesville-Albemarle Bar Association. Ms. Mattingly is involved in a number of local social and arts organizations, including the UVA Club of Charlottesville and the Virginia Film Festival.
